Going by you're only as good as your last game, we can't hit consistently enough to go far.

Fielding is the problem. 4 errors on the series (and a passed ball that lead to 3 runs) vs 0 for MSU. It's literally the difference in 2-0 and 0-2 at this point (this game isn't over with zero errors).

Hindsight now I wish Robertson had tried to get the triple. Would have tied it up on the following ground out most likely.

But I understand the decision and why he didn't want to risk being thrown out at 3rd.. He gets thrown out there and we are all raging.

Yeah, he definitely made the right decision there.

I really think Paul is a terrible coach.

Terrible?

TERRIBLE?

I can listen to an argument that he's not the best.
I don't blame someone for having the opinion that he is average.

But terrible?

Unless they completely botch the relay, he's out by 3 - 4 steps.

Right now, the Tigers are just in one of those bad stretches. Anything they do wrong comes back to bite them and even when they do hit, it's going right at someone. All that they can do is play through it.

Back to the pitching having to be perfect to win, like earlier in the season.

Have you ever watched a season of baseball before?
Many times whole teams have off nights at the plate.
Maybe the guy on the mound is dealing.

Yes. I think he is terrible at in game management. He is great at other aspects of coaching though

Basically we lost the game because our first baseman couldn't keep his foot on the bag, on a routine play. #LSU Paul Mainieri

Love that from a coach.

That's an ignorant thing for PM to even suggest!! Un-freaking believeabke he would even make such an accusation that it was the first basemans fault the game was lost! Wasn't a perfect throw either!
