I was afraid if we had tied the game in the 9th, he'd have brought in Stallings

I would be a horrible head coach (duh!). I'd love to stay out of the spotlight and coach pitching though.

I honestly thought bugg was going to come out in the 7th

I'd love for you to be a pitching coach somewhere and not have any free time.

Do we need to win atleast 1 this series and sect to lock the national seed? or is it locked?

I was fine with 2 righties getting ready and I wasn't worried when I saw it was Godfrey and Newman. I would have bet a lot of money that Newman would come out.

Really, Person is our only lefty out of the pen. No reason to burn your two lefties on the same night with such a heavy lefty lineup. Person will likely be first out tomorrow.

Godfrey has pitched well out of the pen, other than tonight.

Still don't get going to him there in a tie game. Maybe reynolds, newman, or bugg would have made sense.

Poche should have been pulled after that 10 pitch at bat that ended in a hit, followed by the single. You could tell Poche was mentally drained.

Does Poche have a strikeout pitch. Or get ahead in the count and server it up.

I care much less about the seeding and much more about the attitude the team has approaching post season. Need to turn that shite around.

finishing 0-5 probably be only way we don't get a national seed, but we probably still get it in that case. I would be shocked if we went 0-5 to finish. WE get at-least one in Columbia and 1 in Hoover.

Bregman is your spark plug and he went 0-5. The rest of the events on the mound put the nail in the coffin.

Bad pitching mgt cost LSU that game. You gotta see Poche at 85 pitches and know he's not gonna make it much longer. 90+ pitches and he's on borrowed time. That is what his season has been. Don't blame Poche there.

I just have a bad feeling we'll be on here talking about one of these curious decisions sometime over the next month.

Lots of ground balls usually with his off speed.

If we lose, there will always be one play or one decision people will point to (me included).

But PM had an interview this year where he talked about "his rules"

Yeah, that's a big part of the problem. Godfrey was at 18 balls, 6 strikes....did you really need to see the next 2 balls? Sometimes you out-think yourself, and I feel like CPM has done that a tone this year.

You said they didn't hit. All they did was walk. It still takes discipline not to swing. Go back and look at how many 2 strike pitches they hit or took for walks. The a&m fans and the Carolina fans last week were saying the same thing that you said. That Carolina has no pitching after wynkoop. And yet they were a blown 3-run lead in the 9th from sweeping A&M. Don't discount a&m's team just because they've lost a couple of series. They're still dangerous and shut out ole miss tonight. And the way carolinas hitting the ball and scoring runs they're going to be hard to beat, regardless of who they pitch. Let's hope the Bain from last weekend shows up or the pressure will be on lange to perform on Sunday, especially if Vandy and a&m win tomorrow.

The top of the order better start hitting or it will be another disappointing post season.
