I think Gilbert and McKay should get starting looks as well. Gilbert's will probably be based on how other guys in the pen perform. McKay will have to show something more than he did last season or over the summer to get his shot though.
Stuff-wise, Peterson and Hess are the top 2 freshman pitchers. Walker apparently has advanced command. Beck's contribution this season is more likely to come out of the pen, but long term he could be a starting option.

We have two elite starters and an elite closer with a lot of talent in between. We just need to find the right roles for them.
I think McKay makes more sense as a starter. If one of the freshman can come along as a midweek/fourth starter then we will have a solid staff this year.

Poche's IP will exceed Bush and Frederick's IP by at least 3X, IMO. Neither of the latter are going to start so they will share innings with the rest of the pen.
