Coached at Vandy, has done very well on limited talent
Penn State finished #2 this year in total defense? needs to be verified...
He at least has recruited in the SEC region, which apparently is the only hesitation Les has hiring CP.

You may be right, but let's not act like there aren't former NFL head coaches who are now position coaches on another NFL team. Guys want to work. If Ed O is offered the chance to work at LSU and doesn't want to work and there are no better offers, then we don't want him IMO.
Go read the coaching changes board threads from a few weeks back on his Harbaugh guy who went to the Super Bowl a couple years ago.

This coaching change wont be totally done until after signing day.We will have a DC soon but I'm not sure we stay put with just that move
