We tailgated at Calhoun's on the River back in 2006 ... very neat to see the boats "boatgating" on the river. Especially the ones with LSU flags!

I am planning on making this trip as well. Not sure if I am staying the night or not. If we dont stay the night it is cause we are taking a bus trip from Nashville with the Alumni. Only place I have heard of as far as fun tailgating is Calhoun's. I dont even know where to go out after the game as far as bar scene.

there is no "lsu" bar in knoxville. the best bars by campus are cool beans, oci, tin roof, and hannahs (if you want 18=19 yer old sorority girls). the old city (downtown) is full of hippies. calhouns is the most overrated place in town. have no idea why people from other places think it's so great

We went up and down the "strip" in 2006 it was fun but we met up with some friends that went to school there and they took us to this bar that's in an old Victorian style house called Sassy Annes, had more fun there than anywhere else.

sassy anne's is alright, but it's off the beaten path as well. i'm not entirely sure if it's still open

i actually went to UT for undergrad (long story), and my fraternity had date parties there, but i only knew of a few people who would go there otherwise, and most of them were from one fraternity. it's a pretty cool setup. the best bars with the best prices are by far cool beans and oci on the strip.

Probably the same frat as the guys that took us, I vaguely remember them saying they had parties there and that's why they would go

5 years ago is a long time I don't remember. I was with a few guys from Memphis that went to LSU and these were their high school friends.

Apparently, it's nothing nice.

Nu'Keese Richardson & a couple of buddies spent some time in bars there, but all that was served was time.

Lee Chatelain owns Bar Knoxville, therefore it is the greatest.
