Barksdale should publicly apologize

Players cannot just be at LSU for themselves. They have a duty to be team players and entertain the fans. If they can't or don't want to do that, they should leave or be dismissed. I can understand that he may have screwed up and sent a drunken twitter or something like that, but he must apologize if he's going to play at LSU next year.

no he shouldnt publicly apologize unless he is truly sorry. if he doesn't want to be here then the coaches need to release him if he is sorry then he can prove it by working hard

he can write and think what he wants but when you post something like he did its going to cause some backlash. He is allowed to feel how he wants but due to being in the spotlight its not smart to trash the current school you are at.

He needs to go pro or transfer to a school closer to home. Whatever the decision, he needs to not let the door hit him on the arse on the way out. I'm sure UM, MSU, CM, EM or some other Michigan school can take him off our hands for his senior year.....

Some of you people really need to grow up. LSU and this team are not immune from criticism from within. If a Louisiana player was up in Michigan and frustrated with the decision to go there, be away from family, and saying it was a mistake, you'd all be speaking differently.
This is all on the coaching staff and Barksdale. What I've gotten from members on the team is the sense of family from previous seasons is gone. It starts with the leadership of the coaches.
Give the kid a break. No one has the right to jump on him for being open about his feelings.

Dude switched to the OL because LM can't keep OLmen. Pretty sure the guy isn't selfish. He probably would have made 2 X more money coming out as a DT than an OL.
