Band sheet music - piccolo

Sorry if dumb question but is there somewhere online with the sheet music for hey fighting tigers etc for the piccolo part?
My daughter (no pics) plays and is interested and we can’t seem to find anywhere. TIA

They don't just hand that stuff out. We tried when we were going to try out for the band
We used to go search through the band section after games and always found sheet music left behind though
ETA: Was gonna say best bet is probably to find a former member who still has it lying around

You’re right; they don’t hand it out. But when I was in tigerband, the piccolo was the hardest instrument to make it on; maybe aside from percussion.
If it helps her, I’m happy to. Tigerband was one of the best experiences of my life! It helped that I experienced the golden years of both football and being under Frank wickes/Linda Morehouse.

can't be that hard to find, it's not like it's classified information, can't be too hard to sit down and figure it out either, I'm not Eric Clapton but I can usually figure out guitar licks by listening to a song a few times

You’re welcome. I’m home with a newborn so once she finally poops and I’m allowed to do other things, I’ll search. If I can’t find it I will reach out to my friends to send me a picture.
Just have her learn the obligato to perfection, memorize. Maybe a lesson or two with someone to get it clean. The version on Apple Music is from my last year at lsu… :)
Have her match it… it can be a booger in a couple places but slow it way down with a metronome and hack it out until it’s to tempo. It’s honestly easier to play on piccolo than the flute, as well. So practice on piccolo.
The running joke in tigerband was that if LRM could teach a trumpet player to play the obligato, we’d have been gone pecan.

I meannnnnnnnnnn I’m sure it can be eventually figured out but that’s not something you want to learn to play by ear. Hard to undo things that would inevitably learned improperly.

Found it. I somehow wonder if I’d create upset by posting the music so if you’d post your email, I’ll send to you today. Also happy to help her with any questions or advice. I graduated 15 years ago but I’d imagine most stuff is still virtually the same.
