We just need to trap their TE's and play man to man on outside and get pressure with our d-line. Their inability to make adjustments will be their fall.

It's easy. LSU throws for 200+ they have a chance. LSU doesn't= small percentage chance.

LSU couldn't throw on A&Ms Swiss Cheese of D. LSU better pray for turnovers.

I will even go a step ahead and say we would win if we can throw for 200+ yards. We will force the fig McCarron out of the pocket and he will throw an INt next week.

We have to do about 10 things right and they have to do about 5 things wrong for us to win.

Thank you Les Miles. Glad you decided to make an appearance on the Rant. If only we could throw the ball, then catch it. We'd always win.

It won't matter if ND, Kansas St and Oregon win out.

Stupid that Moo State was 11th with their schedule. They are slow as well. Back to being with the unranked Monday, have a nice ride to the sellar.

Disagree. LSU needs to control the clock with a successful running game and come up with big plays on defense.

Keep yourselves ahead of the chains to minimize how many times Alabama blitzes.

Yep. Whatever player we have that is good Bama is better.

I have read post after post of how bama is weak and they haven't played anyone or seen a defense like LSU. Bama has the best oline in the country...it is what it is. If the offense plays like it did against UF ( only comparable d to bama we've played) the defense will be on the field way too much.

I'm the minority on this but LSU will have to score over 21 to beat Alabama. Their offense is better than we LSU fans like to give it credit. Our offensive issues are beyond execution.

LSU isn't running on Alabama. They couldn't do it last year with a better line and actually better QB (basically running threat) ain't happening now with Statue de Mettenberger back there.

I think Alabama is a little worse in their front 7 this year than last.

There aren't many teams that have beaten Alabama by throwing for a lot of yards. The teams that have beaten them recently have with successful rushing attacks.

ETA: I never said LSU will have a successful ground game against Alabama, but that is they way to beat them. And in the past we beat them like this plenty assumed it was too hard to run against them.

lsu will not be able to run the ball against alabama b/c miles runs a pee wee offense. It takes creativity with slips and bubble screens quick slants, delays etc to keep saban guessing. We won't do that it will be Ware up the middle, ford around the end, and play action with Mett's inability to feel the pocket collapse.
