Bama should give one of their trophies to ESPN. They were pushing HARD to get bama into that game. From the moment the game was over until the week or 2 before the final vote when they kept scrolling "bama likely to face LSU in the BCSNCG". They were obviously trying to influence votes and it worked. I've never seen a tv network actively campaign for a team like that before.

Really, who gives a shite about the game next year in TS? I don't, and you shouldn't either.
The regular season is irrelevant for teams like LSU.
You should be more concerned about beating Bama in Miami.
Remember, Bama only needs to beat LSU in January, whereas LSU has to beat Bama in November and January.

I remember reading threads here last December about Miles being invited on ESPN's Gameday to beg for LSU's chance to play in NOLA because he got outcoached by Saban last November.
No way he could beat Saban. He hasn't since 2007.
