We need an LSU grad to become a ref.

The first bad call he made against Bama would happen a couple of months before he made an appearance on that "Disappeared" show on Dateline NBC.

You are blind. Even the most objective people can see Ritter is biased. It's borderline ridiculous.

I don't think Ritter is biased. Just a terrible official and crew he leads.

Except it's real. Last month someone put the time in to research the penalties thrown in games Ritter was officiating. It was something like 8 more flags thrown per game against LSU.

Fuggem. Hopefully we beat them so bad, ref "error" can't screw it up.

Ritter does tend to throw more penalties on us, per this article.

interestingly though...

quote:

LSU is 6-1 in games Ritter officiated since 2012, and the one game the Tigers lost, they held the edge in penalties.

that one game was the Bama game last year. he only flagged us twice and them 3 times.

And that penalty should have been called on Alabama instead it was on LSU...which killed our chances of making it a 2 score lead at the Alabama 3 yard line late in the 4th.

Worst call in History because it was untimely and wrong in that situation.

It changed the outcome. ..fact!

Which is precisely why I liken him to Tim Donaghy. I don't think his crew's intention is to cause LSU or other teams to specifically lose, I think he's shaving points. It's easy to put a team closer than 40 points when you can selectively stop drives.
