So many people keep bashing Lee on here. I did not watch the game twice but it seemed that for the most part, our young WRs were having trouble getting speration from the DBs.

I think it is safe to assume that JLs performance will get better now that his pick 6 flashback jitters should be gone and when our young WRs mature in route running.

Lee's throwing behind a reciver 1-2 times in the first game isnt a concern for LSU fans that arent looking for every single reason they can find to criticize the guy (people such as yourself).

It's not just a little thing he did in the 1st game it's something he's been doing for 4 years.

There's a difference between bashing and saying he needs to improve in an area.

Fair enough, I just wanted to point out that the receiving corps could use a little improvement as well.

Lee does it when he's not avoiding pressure.

I've watched this pretty closely when he's not under pressure, he gets off his back foot but doesn't take a big stride. It's more like a golf swing where his right side rotates with the throw. Almost ends up looking like a jump motion.

I gave him props for that in the Spring Game.

It was a flat footed throw. Still not stepping into it, but at least it isn't a back foot throw.

I prefer JL to JJ, but he was throwing off his back foot the whole game. His footwork is a nightmare.

Are you really saying that he does *not* throw off his back foot?

If so :mindblown:

Catching the football, as LM has said 2-3 times since sat... however is.

10-22 for 98 yards is the concern. Putting almost all of the blame on the WRs is wrong. None of the passes that people are calling drops were perfectly thrown balls that should be caught every time. They were balls that could have been caught, but because the throw was off it made it harder than it should have been. People focus on Lee because no one is saying the WRs had a great game and did what they had to do to win.

The passes to Clement were dead solid perfect.

Give credit where it's due. Chase should be running laps until NSU for that shite.

dude, when a recv gets 2 hands on the ball he's gotta catch it.
Its not that hard of fricking concept to grasp.

Clement had to jump to catch the first pass. The 2nd pass was way off and he had to dive for it.

Not so fast my friend. Check out the TD to Randle. He looks to the right then looks to the left and threw the pass. He has improved in that respect.
