McManus was crushing in the fall. Don't know what happened to him in the spring.

They brought McManus in because we needed another catcher. The bat was a reason for optimism. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't start to improve.

McManus needs to figure it out at the plate. He’s got to be able to give even a healthy Milazzo some days off and not be a liability both at the plate and behind. But we also need a legit RH bat off the bench, which we don’t seem to have right now.
