We'll probably lose at least half of our group to ACL fest this week, but let's try to get as many people as we can out there to watch. We will have at least three tv's and sound in the back room.

Your grandmother either lives:
a) a good ways north on Lavaca
b) a good ways up in whatever apartment building she lives in
to be able to see DK Royal stadium from Lavaca.
Lavaca Street Bar is in the warehouse district. READ: you have to be very HIGH to see DK Royal from there.

just finished talking to the owner - to say he was overjoyed is an understatement.
We just got the 100% full support from him.
By showing up in the numbers we did, you guys all helped make that statement we needed to make. Fantastic job everybody!
So please, this weekend for Moo St, those of you that want a great place to watch the game, we now have 2 great bars that support us. Shoal Creek and Lavaca St Bar.
So, all Tiger fans that made it down last week, we'd love to see you again, and to all who didnt make it down, trust me, it was a great setup. We had plenty of room, great food, and great service. We owned the entire back room - one 106" projection screen, 4 plasmas, PLUS sound. There were more than 80 Tiger faithful that showed up, and I think all but 3 or 4 had plenty of room to sit. (I was told that would be the last time) But so many of you showed up, we blew the expected turnout out of the water.
And for those who cant make it this week, we will have ESPN Gameplan for the next game
So spread the word, LSU now has 2 bars to watch the Tigers.
If you can, keep giving me Yes' or maybe's - we drank all the Abita Amber in the house last week, and they want to have a better idea of how much to stock up on.

Greatest ACL ever....Manu Chao, Beck, Robert Plant..that would be awesome. I'd be there if I wasn't swamped with grad school.

I'm going to try to keep the count fairly current in the first post of the thread so you don't have to hunt for it. Geaux out and tell your friends! If we build it...er...get Abita and provide sound, they will come!

Aww that sux wish we had somewhere to watch the games like that here in San Antonio altho I may take that 45 min drive to Austin just to join you guys. This past weekn it sux because the Longhorns were playing late also so everywhere I went Champs, Buffalo wild wings, Fox and Hound they had the Longhorns game on.

Kellesu was definitely working the room that night. I thought it was weird though that after she asked for my email address she slipped a roofy in my beer.
