The article tells you. They didn't belong on the roster anyway as they weren't good enough to play in the SEC.

lol. Just dumb. MT was a starter and could play all positions.
O couldn't keep him qualified or he just wanted out and the article said he wanted out.
That is retarded to think Dodd, Allen and Okeke would be pushing for PT.
Zero depth.

LSU has been trending in the wrong direction for several years. Maybe Coach O isn't a moron, and wants to change the culture. He might be willing to be thin at certain positions for a year or so if it pays dividends down the road.

So let me guess. It's Coach O's fault we recruited these kids?

It could be his fault for pushing them out the door. Who knows what went on but the high exodus of linemen is the result of something not being told. They could have been bad apples and told to seek another institution to play for because their time was up at LSU.

Lsu tried everything to keep MT so if he was a mouth breathing tard I don't think they try to keep him. Lsu has a strict Disciplinary program. Mainly drug testing. More strict than most. Weed is looked at differently with these young bucks these days. Maybe they should loosen the reins a little. At least to where everyone else is

Welcome to Charlie Strong. This isn't weed. This isn't about "culture". If you read ill of the articles in this subject, he was shocked they left, especially the 3 I mentioned and the kid this year from WV.
All of the excuses morons give on here are all coverups because Grimes is still their recruiter and coach. This is not about changing culture. This is about the fact that the discipline has been lost from this team. Miles got these kinds of guys in class, kept him happy and kept them productive.

Culture changing is an excuse for not paying attention to details.

Somebody is responsible for recruiting them.

AND HIS NAME IS GRIMES. And he is still there. So what's different? Head coach.
This is about paying attention to details. If you don't stay contacted to your people, they will question your leadership and eventually find a different leader.
That goes for a company's CEO to a front line supervisor.
It's no dirfferent for a football coach.

Correct, They should have recognized the lack of dept and went after JC players as a back up plan. But they failed at recruiting players that contributed to the teams needs.
