This lineup usually doesn't have two off games at the plate in a series. I'd imagine we'll be much better tomorrow.

It is called good pitching. It is t “off games”. Johnson said in one of the press conferences that AUs pitching staff is impressive as he has watched them the last week vs SCe.

It (tonight vs LSU) also marked the seventh time this season Auburn has held the opponent to three or fewer runs in a series opener.

Huge that we didn’t have to use Herring or Coleman tonight. Ackenhausen did his job and Hurd was fantastic. If we can get at least 4, possibly 3, out of Floyd then we’re in great shape.

Their Friday night starter is a 24-year-old journeyman lefty that previously featured at Notre Dame and TCU, Tommy Vail. Tiring of trying various religions he finally landed at a public school with a private-school-sounding name. He’s 24 and still in college, which tells me he’s a pitchability guy that won’t have overpowering stuff. So prepare to be frustrated for the first 5 innings on Friday.

Per Hunt: Think Jared Poche'.

You got the powerball numbers ?

Our fans are the most negative people lol. Floyd is hittable yea but when he’s on he’s pretty tough. If he can just be solid our bats will carry us.

To read this frickin board you’d think we were on the bubble to make the sec tournament.

Floyd is no longer a one trick pony. His breaking ball is filthy when it’s on and his change is pretty nice as well. When he’s on, he’s as good as any pitcher LSU has faced this year. He’s not Skenes, but he’s pretty damn good.

It’s not that they’re negative. Let’s call it what it really is: retarded.

Only scoring 3 runs last night means our bats should show up today since we average 10 runs a game. statistically speaking

If Floyd can give us a solid 5, we will be in good shape.
