Great...obviously now it's up to Georgia (unlikely) or Bama (likely) beating them in their upcoming away games. That's assuming LSU wins out of course. Next weekend it may not matter anyway, so this post may be a moot point. But the thought of LSU pulling off the unthinkable and those tater salad eating hacks from Auburn getting in over LSU makes me sick. Maybe it's just Malzahn's face.

42-17 bama over aub

Lsu has to win all games with a tough road ahead. No need to worry about anything until the end.

Meh

I might be the only one who likes it when both Bama and auburn are good. Makes the conference and iron bowl more fun.

Bama is not going to lose to Us and Auburn. If we are fortunate enough to beat Bama then they will beat Auburn. If not, then it doesn't matter any way.

You're correct that it might be moot as soon as next Sunday (though I feel great about our chances against Bama). But DAMN it sure does feel like so many past seasons again. Even if we win out, we're likely waiting on the Iron Bowl to know our fate. UGH!!!

In the week or two following our loss to them I had NO doubt that Auburn would lose again, but it still is yet to happen. That Ole Piss dropped TD pass by Ingram followed by the interception on the next play last night was just a fricking killer!!!

I can't either. Twitchy spaz from Arkansas AND coach of Auburn.

However, I'll give him credit for being the Anti-Miles on the field.

Adjusted his offense, relinquished control of said offense, and team does steadily improve (instead of performing the same or worse as season progresses).

It will suck that when we win Sat we'll probably have to root for Regular Gumps to beat the Plains Gumps. I know I was supposed to root for OM today... couldn't do it. I found myself rooting for the defense, of both teams. Guess I wanted a 7 OT tie at 0-0 or something.

Things like this make me laugh. They have beaten them a lot more recently than we have and always play them close. If anything, we won't beat Bama

How do you know that LSU won't beat Alabama? And really if not for the Kick 6 in 2013, Auburn would be 0 for Alabama as long as LSU had been.

To the revisionist
2011
LSU 9 Alabama 6. Alabama something like 49-21. Not sure of the final score
BCS title game: Bama 21 LSU 0

2012
Alabama 21 LSU 17.
Alabama 49 Aunurn 0

2013
Alabama 38 LSU 17
Auburn 34 Alabama 28

2014
Alabama 20 LSU 13 overtime
Alabama 55 Auburn 44

2015
Alabama 30 LSU 16
Alabama 29 Auburn 13

So you see, since 2011, they have almost identical records against Alabama with LSU playing one more game due to the BCS Title Game. Both have won once against them.

In 2010, both LSU and Auburn beat Alabama, they both lost to them in 2009 and 2008, and both beat them in 2007.

That takes care of the Sabah era at Alabama as it pertains to LSU and Auburn

You shouldn't be worried about Auburn, brah! Only the games LSU has in front of them. Screw trying to hope for some other team to mess up. Control your destiny and let the chips fall where they may.

It's a requirement for Auburn to only hire douche-rockets for football coaches.

Shouldn't have even mentioned the 2011 BCS MNC.

We should have played Okie State.
