Auburn's Blake Countess ejected for targeting against Jacksonville.

He could miss 1st Half of LSU game next week.

Jacksonville St leads 10-6 at Half.

Looks like Auburn didn't even prep for this game and is just running through the motions.

Such an awful call

Is there an appeal process for these calls? If so it would be overturned by anyone with a brain

Unless I missed a rule change, he was ejected in the 1st half, so it will have no effect on next week's game.

Gee, I feel sorry for Auburn. Such a history of fine sportsmanship.

Rule changed? Thought it was a 1st half dismissal, which meant he only misses 2nd half. Glad to know they changed the rule for 2nd half and 1st half of next game.

Think it was a bullshite call, though.

Agree. Those refs today need to be suspended w/o pay. That was a horrible call. The other play that was "HORRIBLE" for the refs was when the Auburn running back had the ball, his helmet gets knocked off and the refs let the play continue for another 3 to 5 seconds. The new rules state that the ref blows the whistle immediately to stop the play as soon as the helmet comes off to protect the player from a head injury. Why have rules if you have refs that don't know how to enforce them?
