Another weekend and another blown opportunity to sweep and pick up precious conference wins…

The story of the season too many LOB, no timely hitting and a coach who refuses to throw his best pitcher Herring to start the game…

.195 coming into the game

.200 in SEC play. (6 for 30)

LSU drops to 7-14 with 9 SEC games remaining.

They really need to win 7 of the 9 remaining SEC games to make the post season with 3 of those games being number 1 A&M. Not looking good.

top 3 of the order for LSU today was 1 for 12 that is .083. Bingham and White no hits, Larson 1 hit

story of the year, no clutch hitting and runners LOB

White, Travenski and Jones were supposed to be the go to guys. They only hit with nobody on.

That’s just not accurate. Those three knock in like 40-45% of our runs. Please stop making shite up

Same.

Thanks. Honest and for real.

I still think if we started Herring we win today, but it is hypothetical.

I agree. I don’t know why he refuses to start herring.

Jay listened to Mik’d up clamoring for Anderson to start and it cost him this game and probably the postseason. Had to sweep this weekend. Should have went Dutton for 1 time through the lineup and then turned it over to Herring. I like Jay but his ineptitude this season will cost LSU to not make a regional for just the 5th time in the last 39 seasons.

At this moment in April he’s…

8-45 (.178) in all games

6-34 (.176 in SEC games

6 would do it if they win a couple in the SECT. But getting to 14 wins gives LSU the best possible chance.

Needed this one but oh well.

We aren’t a team that can win ballgames when giving up a 5 spot in the 1st. Disappointing but the beauty of the game is you get to do it again on Tuesday and then opportunity to piss in A&M’s chilli this weekend.

Terrible decision like many this season. Just look at the SEC stats. You had Dutton and Herring sitting there without any pitches thrown this week. They were your best 2 and you went with the freshman who gave up 5.

Again, I really don't understand Jay's thought with this.

We needed to sweep.

We get 5-0 win with Jump pitching 7.

We win game 2 with Pearson walkoff hit.

Herring is right there to sweep the series.

I try to be positive, but I don't understand. I don't I know better than Jay, but this one is really confusing.

I gotcha. I like Bingham, but he has not been good lately. I don’t understand making an offensive change in the lineup like that for someone who’s doing worse lately than the person you are replacing. Kling has some bad strikeouts, but after today his OB% is better than Bingham whether you are looking at the season, conference play, or just this month.
