Are you telling me that this makes a pitcher throw 100 MPH? Sure the adderall helped his focus out - there's not doubt about that. But, people are acting like he won't be able to pitch now, which is stupid. He has talent. He will still be good.
You're reaching buddy. No one said he wasn't going to pitch good. We said it will have an affect on his performance. You know..pitchers need to be mentally focused..getting off of Adderall may mess with that.

Has nothing to do with scouts.
Sure it does. You think the owners are the one who will blindly sign a check while watching video? No..they have advisers, who also have advisers, who are scouts.

Dude, you're the one who corrected me when I said he throws 100 MPH, and he will still be able to throw 100 MPH. You're awesome

speed is one of the most psychologically addictive drugs out there, more so than cocaine....it will bother him if he doesnt take it

My guess is he just took it for finals or something. If he uses it on a regular schedule he would already have gotten a Rx for it. Either way his doctor who I assume is a Sooner fan could write it up today if need be.

Have you ever seen the movie "For The Love of the Game"? If so, when Kevin Costner is on the mound and he says "Clear the Mechanism" and the crowd noise and sounds of the game go away and he is zoned into the batter, this is the OU pitcher while on adderall. And then at the end of the game he says it and it doesnt work and the crowd noise is still in his head and he cannot concentrate, this is the OU pitcher while NOT taking adderall.
This is the best Kevin Costner like description I can give

He's still going to take it before he pitches..
And you know this.....how?
I'm not disputing you. I also wonder since it's not a bannable offense by the NCAA what's to stop him for taking it again before he pitches this weekend?

Where did I do this?
My comment was that he DOES have something to prove, and you said he doesn't. Being mentally stable, and being mentally stable because of a drug are a big difference, especially when the drug aspect isn't allowed in the Majors.

Are they gonna test him before this weekend? What's keeping him from using it for the Supers if they aren't going to test?

I would assume that he would either make damn sure he didn't take it or get a prescription before this weekend... But, people do stupid shite all the time...

how dumb does one have to be to take addy knowing that you will be tested for the draft? even tm7 passed his pre draft drug test

but can he handle the pressure of a full house in alex box and be able to focus?
That's what I'm wondering, too.

And lastly, what will prevent him from taking it prior to pitching against us?
nothing will prevent him from continueing to take this substance while the college baseball season is going on. he's been "busted" so why stop now? if it isn't against college rules, he'd be a fool to quit until the mlb authority takes over.

It doesn't help you cover a WR either, but CBs in the NFL take it. It's all about focus, and adderall helps you do it. Are you telling me that being able to keep your composure and focus better isn't enhancing?
You replied to my post with this statement that has nothing to do with what I said. I simply stated that he throws 100 MPH and not taking adderall isn't really going to effect that. The kid will still have the same stuff. Will he be quite as sharp with location? Who the hell knows. Will he get distracted by the crowd? Who knows. But I can guarantee you with 100% certainty he will still be capable of throwing his fastball in the upper 90's.
The comment about having something to prove was a separate issue than the kid being able to throw hard.
