Can LSU still beat Auburn? IMO if we don't turn the ball over we win going away. With our D the only way Auburn wins is if we turn the ball over so lets say we turn it over twice, can we still win??

If we turn it over twice, we're toast.

depends who's taking the snaps & where we are when we turn the ball over..

1.) two florida/mcneese turnovers (aka within the opponents redzone)
we will lose.

2.) JJ at QB 50% or more
we will lose

3.) JL at QB
less turnovers, more momentum on defense,
big plays, and a Victory at Jordan-Hare.

comes down to that. the problem is letting JJ play is giving them at least one turnover a game. he turns it over more than completes passes... (not a real statistic but you get the point)

No they can't. At least not with JJ killing every shed of momentum the offense can muster.

Next Saturday will be a long afternoon for all of us tiger fans. And we will have Miles and his idiocy to thank for it.

With his offensive philosophy, a loss next week is as predictable as the sunrise.

A -2 turnover margin and we lose the game. It's that simple. It nearly cost us against Tennessee... it would have cost us against Florida. Hell, it made things extremely difficult against effing McNeese.

To win, we need to contain the read option, we need to minimize wasted drives (Jefferson) and we cannot turn the ball over. It is also extremely important to get Ridley and Barksdale as healthy as we can leading up to the game.

I am hoping that you all play JJ in this game more than you play Lee. That being said, our porous defense will probably make him look decent.

Anyone looking from the outside can see that Lee is playing better football. I don't see any advantages to a two QB system unless one of those QBs is named Tebow.

This is exactly how I feel. If Miles hasn't seen the light and doesn't keep Lee in the game to develop a rhythm with the offense, LSU will lose regardless of their defense.

Guys are you that worried? I mean seriously after last night LM would half to be an idiot to start JJ next week. Have a little more faith in our boys. I guarantee Cam doesn't put up more than 17 on our defense unless we turn in over in our redzone. Look at the MSU game...they BARELY squeeked by! I know every game is different, but we dominated MSU, with JJ LOL.

And again, I remind you, THEY HAVE NO DEFENSE! Like seriously. After that showing last night I'm actually feeling more confident about both Arky and Aubie...cuz that was pathetic.

I guarantee we beat Auburn if we put up 24 points, and after seeing Arky put up 45, I hope we can put up at least 24 LOLLLLL

Smiles will in fact just like the Bozo president we are suffering with shove JJ into the line up in spite JJ's lack of QB skills!

Miles = Bozo

We will lose to Auburn thanks to the single minded man in the white hat....Mark it down!

Is your D better than McNeese?

Going up against the 108th passing defense, there is no excuse for LSU to be out of this game. I mean if ever they gonna get the passing game clicking on all cylinders it will have to be this one.

tough call that requires more assumptions. if our turnovers do not result in points or perhaps a FG, we can still win. if they turn it over, etc. my biggest concern, other than turnovers is game scheming. if we decide to run the ball a lot, we will beat ourselves up. so a quick interception early in the game by jj or jl might turn the staff to being overly conservative. with cam newton, auburn can score quickly, even with our D, esp late in the game when we are tired. this guy can wear our D out. i think we play our hearts out and leave everything on the field. even then, it's a toss up. never bet against miles in a bit game. and never bet on him covering a big spread either. this is it folks; this game is 2010. we can still get a damn good bowl invite, but if we are going to win the sec or have nc aspirations, this is it. biggest game since '07 nc.
