As we get closer to the first game, days seems to go slower

I hate this time of year. theres so much excitement yet youre still too far away. days creep by. weekends pretty much suck right now sports-wise.

Yeah..the last week is always rough. Hard to escape the excitement when you can feel the fall weather coming

It is brutal, but this helps a little: next week is the last non-game week of the summer.

Just wait until the season starts. It takes forever to wait through the last 8 weeks prior to the first kickoff, but once the season starts, it's over so blistering fast that it makes your head spin.

I like the anticipation.

The start of the season is a little anti-climatic to me.
Once it starts, it goes by so fast.

It's as if time is going backwards. Once the season starts we'll wonder where the season went.
