As much as anything else, this will put the 2014 SEC title up for grabs.

After this season, Manziel, Mettenberger, McCarron and Murray all leave for the NFL.

Well all bama needs is a game manager. If u can run the ball and play defense they got it made with a shite schedule.

The 2013 ATL still is. LSU has 6 conference games we must win, and they are all winnable.

They haven't been able to run the ball consistently this year.

No disrespect to Anthony Jenning's long term potential, but unless next year's defense plays very similar to the '10/'11/'12 defenses I don't see a first year starter with garbage time game experience bringing LSU to the promised land - next year.

1st time starters Cam Newton had Auburns defense, and AJ McCarron had Bama's '11 defense to keep them in games. I don't see Jennings rolling out the gate looking like 2013 Mettenberger.

The defense definitely needs improvement, and I'm confident that it will be exponentially better next year. And if recruiting goes like we all hope, Jennings won't have to carry the offensive load all by himself.

I'd hate to say it, but I think Bo Wallace would be a favorite for best QB in the SEC. I hope AJ can learn the playbook early and take over out of the gate!
