Ole Miss is our rival. Good grief.

Ole Miss is our Ole Rival, and has been since well before I came along. ATM had a little rivalry going with us once, and there was a long break, but maybe it will start again. I see posters saying a team can't be a rival if they're no good. BS. Rivalries have nothing to do with records.

fricking embarrassing if ole piss is still referred to as our biggest rival. This isn't the 60's anymore and a rival has to be on the same level as you. It's a insult to compare our program to theirs

Nice vocabulary. Opinions are like...well, you know. It's the closest thing we have to a real one. I guess Florida and FSU can't be rivals this decade if the same level defines a rivalry.

im hoping we develop a strong rivalry with A&M. I hate that they try to make Arkansas our main rival, but it just doesn't work.

They were a huge rival for years. Much hatred existed. It is being rekindled.

How old are you, doctor?

LSU has played ATM more than it has played Auburn.

I kinda consider every team in the West to be a rival.

Unfortunately we don't have a single hated rival, and I have to be honest, it's something I miss.

Yes, our games against Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, and A&M are great games with a lot of emotion, but none are true "rivalry" games.

But they don't consider us a rival. A rivalry is a two way street to me. And it's a year round hatred no matter the sport.

I wish we had that, but we don't.

Is it really a rivalry if Ole Miss doesn't consider us their rivals?

Ole Miss fricking hates LSU, man. I don't know if that makes us "really a rival", but it's got to mean something.

I miss Tulane as our rival. Yes they were and more than Ole Miss. People who lived in Louisiana and especially New Orleans had to deal with Tulane people everyday. That's not true for Ole Miss.

UGA plays GaTech, Florida plays FSU, South Carolina plays Clemson, Iowa plays Iowa State. We can do that with Tulane with a game in the Dome when its their home game and we work out a deal to get more tickets to sell for us.

I wish we would play them every year home and home and have eight home games in one year and then 7 in the other year. Even with the SEC rule about playing a Power 5 opponent we can do that by playing Indiana or Duke or Iowa State.

I don't believe you truly understand the nature of a genuine rivalry. It has nothing to do with the other program's stature. It has nothing to do with the importance of the game as far as standings and championships are concerned. You can play bigger more important games and you can play more dominant programs and not have those be a true rival.

Many rivalries across the country have one dominant team and the other looking to take them down a notch.

LSU fans obsess with Bama, but they don't give us a thought until game week. I don't call that a rivalry.

Everyone hates LSU.

Seriously, LSU is a lot like Florida and FSU. They have a lot of rivals.

Most UF fans consider Georgia their rival, but UF plays FSU during rivalry week.

FSU fans consider UF, Miami, and Virginia their rivals.
