Meh. I feel like it's more we have a lot of "mini" rivals but no true rival. That's more because we are the only powerhouse in Louisiana so we don't get that intense in-state rival like all the other schools.

Arkansas and Texas A&M are forced rivals.

Ole Miss is a kind of rival..

Alabama is a kind of rival because we have been the top dogs in the SEC for the last 7 years or so and they have our old coach

Florida is usually good and our cross division "rival"

im hoping we develop a strong rivalry with A&M. I hate that they try to make Arkansas our main rival, but it just doesn't work.

Ole Miss is a traditional rival who will once again become most hated if they follow up on their recent success.

Maybe, but will they ever be consistently good enough?

Back in the day Ole Miss. Dislike was there for Auburn in the Tubs days, now Bama is disliked, but none are a rivalry IMO.

Tulane should have never left the SEC.

FIFY - I think we already have a healthy rivalry with A&M.

Rivalry does not connotate hard feelings and dislike but rather good sportsmanship and fun and looking forward to competition.

There are teams in the SEC I strongly dislike, these are not rivals, these are jackasses

Bama/Auburn?
Ole Miss/Miss State?
Florida/Florida State?
Mizzou/Kansas?
Michigan/Ohio State?

immense dislike.

Its not working for LSU, that's for damn sure. Arkansas always plays us %150, its as if they spend their entire season just to beat LSU.

Lucky to beat Ark in 2012, 2013 - they beat the cr-p out us in 2014. And who can forget sitting in Tiger Stadium for that Triple Overtime loss which almost cost us a spot in the big game.

The way I see it is that every team in the SEC west is our rival because we see the best from each and every one of them when we play them.

They relish beating LSU as much or more than any other opponent.

That's what a rivalry feels like.

The monthly rivals post. So many people will wish for a rival but they are none. They will have to keep on waiting.

They were our traditional rivals - but in the late 50s we all considered Ol Miss to be our real rival.

I didn't care a whit about the Tulane game - they were already an afterthought. Ol Miss is who we looked forward to.

I see your point but I dont think Auburn looks at playing us the same way as they do Alabama and Alabama playing us vs Auburn or even Tennessee, the same with the Mississippi schools. I can see Arkansas and Mizou becoming rivals and I see aTm hating us like Arkansas does, but maybe LSU not reciprocating and it developing into a rivalry, maybe in the future, but now it just feels too forced, not natural.

We may be the only school in the conference without a rival.

In Lafayette U-LaLa seems to think they're our biggest rival.
