Take it for what its worth, but one of the Dr's that treated AR told me it was more than just a sore elbow. He actually had a stress fracture in his elbow. Although he finally recovered from it, he still had the mental issues that he is dealing with. AR apparently kept it from PM due to the fact that PM would lose his shite over.

Again, i know i'm :beatdeadhorse: , but i figured I'd share some info that I got a couple days ago. Believe me or not, don't really care

They did say it was a stress reaction in the elbow - it was not a fracture, if it was a fracture he would have been done for the year with surgery.

The rest or month off prevented it from becoming a fracture. His velocity would not have been what it was had it been a stress fracture. He would've been throwing in the low 80's with pain.

He was drafted by the Red Sox. No way in hell he comes back. It make no sense financially for him, especially with all his injury concerns since HS.

He will have zero leverage next year and take risk in injury. Not coming back, period.

I call complete bullshite. No way a doctor told you anything about one of his patients. You lose your license over that shite.

cuz hipaa has been such a stunning success. i mean i can hardly read the names of the patients on the check-in list since they've carefully drawn over them with a sharpie

Yes because Dr's and staff never talk about pts.

Just telling you what i heard. I told you, you dont have to believe it. Just passing it along.

I don't doubt that he really had that injury bc I heard something similar to that but it is hard to believe a dr would be that stupid as to open their mouth

I also heard something similar. Mainieri said the same thing in public or to reporters about 100 times.

A stress fracture, or stress reaction, isn't the same thing as an actual fractured bone.
