What would be your strategy?

5 man front? Run blitzes?

If we can shut down their run early, we should be in really good shape in this game.

Arkansas is built very similar to Bama, but with far less talent. However they will be tough to beat. We need to have a back plan and not go into it like we did the Bama game.

We have to keep the ball away from them.

Don't go three and out on offense consistently

Allen's passed for 2500 Yards 21 TD's and 5 int's...Hitting 65% with a QBR of 164.7

Drew Morgan leads the SEC in TD's

Hunter Henry is #1 TE in the country

TE Jeremy Sprinkle is a mismatch for many

WR Jared Corneilus is back full force

We are a passing team

Possess the ball more than they do.

Stellar redzone defense.

Win the field position battle.

Ole Miss sold out to stop the run and played man on our talented group of WRs and TEs.

Allen proceeded to throw for 430 yards 6 TDs and Collins still got his 100+ yards.

The Arkansas offense the last two weeks is as healthy as it's been all season. The offense is playing at a very high clip right now. Can both run and pass effectively

Control the ball when we have it, score some points, put pressure on them, force them out of their comfort zone, etc.

Basically do everything we failed to do vs. Alabama.

We have to do a lot better job stoping the TE on 3rd down. They've been killing everyone with the TE for 2 years. If we can't cover them, its going to open up the running game and it will be a long day.

So if LSU offense shows up this could be a possible shoot out?

Depends on how you feel about your passing game...The quick game kills us. Not toooo concerned with the drop back routes, but our secondary has been an issue

That's not out of the equation.

I think for it to be a shoutout, LSU needs to hit short passes over the middle. If LSU lives and dies by just running, I actually think Arkansas can win by 10.

It boils down to how stubborn will your staff be...My thought is...Fournette is probably going to get at least two big runs...let's say they both go for TDs...that's 14 points...14 points isn't going to win the game...so saying that...does your staff pound the ball and go three and out a few times, or do they attempt to pass...on short routes...?

Kick ball through endzone.

Keep defense off field.

They will come out throwing. That will set up the run. We need for LF7 to go wild and run for over 200 yards. That is the only way I see we win this one.

I'm not saying Arkansas can't beat us because they most certainly can, but some of you seem to be focusing on the fact that Arkansas beat Ole Miss. This doesn't mean Arkansas is suddenly the team to beat. I saw a team that was able to march down the field and score at will but I also saw them turn around and let Ole Miss do the same thing time and time again. I also saw Arkansas win because of a very lucky lateral play on 4th and 25 or whatever only to be followed up by what would have been a game losing fail to get the 2 point conversion except for the fact that a stupid player from Ole Miss had to grab the face mask. Arkansas should never have won that game, it took a ton of luck and a really really badly timed penalty for them to win. If they lost no one would be saying that this team was going to beat us, everyone would be saying that it would be a close game like it always is but that LSU should come out on top if they play ball.
