Watched them play for last 6 years because My oldest son played at Air Force. USU has a Good team and program definitely pointing up. Having said that, it should be over in second quarter. 2019 Tigers should have no problem dominating this game!

Geaux Tigers!!

Oh, and frick Bama!!!

Statistically they have a great offense, but at the end of the day they're still Utah fricking State.

Well that certainly changes things a bit. Looks like there's no need to worry then. I thought it was the other way around and they were bringing back 9 starters.

Also keep in mind that the coach who oversaw last year's offense now resides in Lubbock.

I don't think their offense will suck by any means, but I don't expect it to be as prolific.

Poter-O-JR a Georgia Fan

Georgia use to play GSU every 4 years when GSU was FCS.

In 2015 GSU as a G5 team took Georgia into overtime. Is that the reason GSU is no longer on your schedule?

When was the last time Vandy was second in the NCAA in scoring?

The same time Utah State was in the SEC.

NO game should be overlooked. USU is a very good team returning experienced players.

Uh, no, having just returned from SLC & Park City, US has no way to practice for 70+% humidity in 80+ degree temps whereas 90° and < 25% feels quite nice out there. 2nd half may turn brutal.

I wouldn’t say I’m worried about the game.

But I am all in favor of scheduling solid-to-good G5 programs if we have to have 2-3 such programs on the schedule each year.

I’d much rather a game against a USU or a GSU than say Northwestern State or SELU.

Excellent point. If you aren't ready for that heat + humidity you'll be dead by the middle of the second quarter.

I’m excited to see how the coaches approach this game. No slip ups.

No. That prolific offense brings back the QB and one OL. They lost 3 of their top 4 rushers and their top 5 receiving yardage leaders. Last year was the year to be concerned about them, Joe Public is a year behind per the usual.

We have a 1200 foot tall mountain here in LR. As someone who has scaled this monster, I am worried.

Ain’t no hills in the bayou. No way to simulate.
