And can someone tell me why we were away team last night? Sure it’s been posted but I missed it. Thank you!

We should be home since last time we played WF they were home. Right?

We were the away team because Tenn was away in their first 2 games, meanwhile we were home and away in our first 2.
We will be the home team tonight

Tennessee had not been the home team yet and LSU had one time.
LSU should be the home team as wake has been the home team twice and LSU only once.

we should be home bc this would be 3 games in a row we were visitor and WF would have 3 in a row as home team....but I am using logic no telling what the NCAA uses

We are the home team.

Looking at ncaa.com it has us listed as visitor for the game tonight.

We should be home.
We’ve played 3 games with 2 as the road team and Wake has played 2 games: both as the home team.

I stand corrected. ncaa.com just changed both games to be LSU home and TCU home.

Since 10 people replied saying the same thing...we are the home team tonight.

This.
We will be the visiting team tomorrow since LSU and Wake will have both been 'home' twice and the tiebreaker will go to the higher-ranked team.
ETA: I stand corrected. LSU would be home both games. Thank rt3

LSU should be the home team both games against Wake should we force Thursday
You are correct in that after tonight both teams will have been home twice... but there's another step to determining home team before getting back to "higher seed is home"
quote:
2. If the two teams are equal in this respect but unequal in the number of times they were the visitor, then the team that has been the visitor more often will be designated the home team.
How CWS home team is determined
By that step... LSU has been visitor twice while Wake has been visitor just once... so LSU should be home for a potential Thursday game

The home team lost last night

This really isn't hard and is set in stone. In the first game the better seeded team is home; after that it goes to how many times you have been home or away as compared to the other team; if its equal its a coin flip. Against Tenn the first time we were home because we were the better seeded team; against Wake, since we were both the home team the first game it was a coin flip that we lost; against Tenn last night we were the away team because Tennessee had been the away team both games and we had been home once and away once. Tonight we will be home team because Wake has been the home team both games and we have been the road team twice and home once. We will also be the home team in a Thursday game with Wake.

Not anymore
If the amount of times the 2 teams have been home & away are equal then it reverts back to better seed
We were the visitor against Wake in the 1st meeting b/c Wake is the better seed
The coin flip is no more
