Serious question.

Why do you think this would be LSU's year when they are breaking in a new QB?

Serious question.

But no team has seemed to be impaired more by poor QB play than LSU under Miles. Cam Cameron might make things different, and I think Brandon Harris could be special, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Define good. Most would consider avg of 10-11 wins for several years to be amazing. Only LSU fans would ask if they are going to be "good" after the run we've had.

It depends on Harris' development. We haven't really had an outstanding rookie year campaigns recently so I'm staying grounded with my expectations.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, because as an LSU fan god knows I've been frustrated as hell at times. But I wouldn't say we we've been impaired exactly. Hell, in 2011 we suffered from poor to average QB play and had one of the most impressive regular seasons in college football history.

There were other years where we had poor QB play and still had good seasons overall. We've still managed to be successful most years because of a solid running game, good defense and special teams, and some luck :)

But I agree, some good years could have been great with better QB play. And one great year, could have been an all time special season......

If Brandon Harris gets the nod at QB, I think we could be in every game, and that gives the chance of running the table. Just don't feel the same way with AJ under center. Yeah, he only had 1 full game so far, but that game was horrendous. Kept thinking "did Jordan Jefferson lose 50 lbs?"..

The D-line is going to be a big question mark this year, so we have to see what we have out of that unit as well before we can really know.

DBs should be really solid this year.

O-Line should be really solid this year.

Special trams should be really solid as well.

So, the potential is there to have a really good year. 2015 is probably when the team is a complete monster squad, but the potential is there. Get past Wisconsin and MISS State unscathed, and its gonna get real interesting..

I think we will have a quality team, but wont win it all. But until the last game, every one is second fiddle to FSU. So we are in good company.

Ehh, look at the years we had good qb play, like last year, we lost 3 games.

And since i dont watch every team, i couldnt tell you the qb struggles other programs have had, but id assume we arent in the few. I mean not many teams are putting qbs in the nfl.

I think Auburn is very overrated going into this season. They are being set up for a fall this year.

I think we lose 3 this year.

I might be a sunshine pumper (slightly) but I think that we will be really good - prolly not great, though. I think that we may have the best secondary in the country. But with a young offense (except for the OLine) we may end up with 1 or (more likely) 2 losses. We will have a shot, if a couple of bounces and calls go our way, to be squarely in the hunt for a top 4 spot going into November.
