they are certainly too close for me...the crowd is fun in the endzones, but I like sideline seats, even if they are high in the upper deck...I like to be able to tell immediately whether we got first downs, etc....

If fact, my ideal seat would be on the 50 in the front row of the west upper tiger terrace...

Are we supposed to be jealous? You can't see crap from where you are standing.

I don't think I would want anything that close. I had row three seats in the NEZ for one game back in 1975. Looking back, they sucked, but being a college kid at the time, I didn't know any better.

I have some decent seats in the SEZ which I do like for the view (field and Jumbotron) and thank God they aren't anywhere nearly as close. Even have good neighbors around me. The only thing we bitch about is that the seats aren't wide enough, but we manage.

One other thing. I hope to never sit in the "crow's nest" again. Have sat in the upper deck a couple of times. Really did not like it. Probably had to do with having birds flying around, and perhaps the pigeon standing next to me, wanting me to move, as I was taking the seat he normally shits on during the rest of the week. Anyway, just felt removed from the game. I'll take the lower bowl any day. For those who like the 50 yard line thing, nothing wrong with that. However, you still do not have much of a view when one team is at the end zone. At least with decent EZ seats, you get to be on top of some of the action.

Rainman - I feel you brother. I went thru a bad divorce. When I got remarried, I found a single woman who had LSU season tickets. Almost like running a personal ad. However, the seats are way too low (literally, on the first row). I've told her that my next marriage will definately be to a woman with better seats. :-)

Here is what I'm typically having to look at.

Just disgusting, isn't it?
