Are students required to be vaccinated?

Are LSU students required to be vaccinated or show proof of negative covid results to enroll or attend classes? If not, then how would any covid restrictions anywhere on the LSU campus be effective?
And for all you koolaid drinkers, why are you so supportive of these restrictions that are overwhelming proven to do nothing to prevent the spread of this virus? If you really want to stop the virus shouldn’t you advocate an approach that is actually medically sound rather than politically correct?

I don’t think a lot
Of people are “supportive”
I think most people just take the shot and continue on with the herd. Sheep

The benefit of the vaccines is not about preventing the spread. It's about reducing the number of severe cases to ease pressure on hospitals and their staff. The vaccine helps in that regard. That's all.

It’s about all three. The more that get vaccinated, the slower this will spread.

Thats false. While the vaccine doesnt completely stop the spread, it significantly reduces the liklihood of contracting and spreading.
The main reason is to slow/ stop the amount of severe cases requiring hosptalizations and reduce the strain on the healthcare system.
The more people get vaccinated, the slower the spread gets.
Not sure what is so hard to understand about that.

You knew when it didn't cure cancer that people would shite all over it.

No, they are not required to be vaccinated. President Tate sent a letter to students and parents yesterday that students can op out of the vaccine per Louisiana law. They will be required to get tested though.

It’s simple. Thems the rules. I don’t like them but throwing a fit isn’t going to change them. Defying them just so I can have my little empty soap box moment is not a hill I’m willing to die on. I want to go to the game, so this is how I do that. It has nothing to do with what I support.

Yes and it would help if our leaders and our media would do a better job of communicating it this way instead of the way they handle it. They are trying to make it seem like the vaccine and masks are the cure all and will fix everything instead of just being honest and saying this thing is going to be here forever now and these are things you can do to possibly help protect yourself.

Just 2 weeks to flatten the curve.

Now that Pfizer is FDA approved, they are required

Too scared to get a little shot. What a pansy bitch.

The vaccine has not proven to reduce the severity of cases. The data shows those vaccinated are hospitalized at the same rate as those not vaccinated.

Absolutely not true. Stop spreading lies. Quit being a bitch, it’s a little shot. You might cry for a second but it doesn’t hurt.
