The HS CB Tolliver that we have committed is better than Patrick Robinson.

They have more upside.

If you took our corners right now at this stage in their career and put them on the field last night, they probably would have been toasted just as bad.

If you took our corners prior to this season and put them on the Saints and allowed them to start the entire year in the NFL they would have performed marginally better than the Saints did last night.

In a few more years they definitely will be better.

Rashard Robinson will do fine in the NFL when he doesn't have to focus on school.

No. Tre White would start for the Saints, but Collins would be one of the last corners on the team. Rashard has not developed at LSU. You need a lot more than man skills to make it in the NFL and RR doesn't have it yet.

Yes. I'll take the LSU corners any day. They will be playing in the NFL some day. The Saint's corners have no business in the league.

The corners for the saints do not even look like D1 corners.. No idea what happened there.

If Keenan Lewis is healthy, this question is a joke. But currently, it's a fair point.
Patrick Robinson would be about as good as Mo Claiborne was here; his talent would prevail over most college WRs.

But beyond Lewis and Robinson, things get iffy. I wouldn't say the Saints' 3-4-5 corners are BETTER than LSU's top 3, that's for sure.

Generally, people laugh at any college/pro comparisons, and say the pros win in a landslide. But that's not always the case; Mettenberger just had a 300 yd game, Beckham had a 100 yd receiving game with a spectacular play, Landry had 7 catches with a TD for the Dolphins, and Hill had well over 100 yds rushing against the Saints last week. Beckham, Landry and Hill all could still be playing for LSU right now, and I'd say they're all better than what the Saints are trotting out this season. I wouldn't say that any of those guys have improved hugely over what they were last year.

Dixon's attempt at defending that touchdown to Steve Smith was as bad as I think I've ever seen an NFL corner look on a play. I would have been laughing my arse off if that had happened for any team besides the Saints. Smith makes an incredible catch to top it off.

Keenan Lewis is one of the best corners in the NFL.

Outside of him, yes

I think it's unfair to throw Lewis in that group, but other than him it's a tossup.

This maybe pushing the edge some. I do believe LSU has a few corners that will get to the league and they are covering a few WRs that will get to the league, but how many QBs are they facing that will be good in the league? I don't think many if any.
