Posi-llevas? Alleva-pumpers? AD worshipers? We must name this imaginary faction of the fanbase before this conversation can continue.

I don't know that I have ever heard anyone say they like Alleva or that he is doing a good job.

It's a tumultuous relationship.

I don't like ole Joe one bit, but I also think he's a figurehead for TAF. He does what he's told, and that's about it. Been tossed around more than once on here that the people who write the checks only gave Alleva a certain amount of wiggle room in the negotiations with Chavis, citing specifically the late game issues.

On most things, absolutely not. However, I will give him some props on the upgrades to the stadium. The new South Endzone and the beautification of the north side were outstanding. I have also noticed improved cell reception, and the in-game highlights were also a nice touch. Pumped in music has continually annoyed me, though.

Same here. He has continually shown asshaberdashery with regards to TV times, rivalries, scheduling, basketball hires, ect.

Plus, I will NEVER get over his handling of Duke Lacrosse...EVER!

TV times not up to him. He went to bat for us. There's nothing else he can do. Same with "rivalries/scheduling".

Men's Basketball is clearly headed in the right direction.

I think the people currently supporting Alleva during the DC job search are people who do not want to waste an opportunity to lay full blame for a perceived negative at the feet of Miles. So, over the last week, Alleva supporters have been the Miles haters.

Generally, I think the only time most people are thinking of the AD is when they are hating.

Personally, I am unsure of his role in most things since he's been here, so I can't claim to be a supporter or hater.

I think Alleva haters are to a large degree Les fans, but let's face it Les record is MUCH better at doing his job than Joe's is....

There are people that are program supporters and root for our AD to make good decisions. I don't know how that translates into being an "Alleva supporter."

However I know that the typical dullard on this site has to put a label on everything in life so he can simplify it for his feeble mind.
