If he could keep his quickness at 260....w/ the added strength....kid would be even a bigger beast than before. scary thought.

He needs to make a choice about whether he wants to be a OLB or DE in the NFL. Chances are he's an OLB even at 260.

Honestly he can probably play both. He has enough bend around the edge to be either and his length makes it easier for him

Not really a choice he has to make, he'll be an OLB in a 3-4 or a DE in a 4-3.

At 6'6 260 is reachable. He'll need have an awesome diet and workout to keep the quickness. The crazy part is he's just now getting to his grown man body growth time.

No choice to make, he's a 3-4 OLB at the next level.

Very reachable. He is a notch under 240 right now. Putting on another 20 lbs on a 6'6 frame should be very obtainable.

He has the frame. If he puts on lean muscle then 260 is a good weight. By the end of the year these guys usually lose 10-15 lbs.

IMHO his ideal playing weight is 245-250. His best weapon is his speed.

I can't disagree. I personally would like to see him at a good 250. 260ish might be a bit much.

He needs to look at what Alabama's guys have done. They have gone the other direction and are 20-40 lbs lighter across the front 7 then they were in 2009-2012 to better address the HUNH/spread speed of the game and not be caught in personnel mismatches. Unless he's an inside lineman, the guy is already freaky big and strong as to be a disruptor. An explosive edge rusher is where he makes his money in the NFL.

Exactly to gain twenty pounds of good weight it will take him at least 2 or 3 years.

He would prbly be the number one overall pick next year he weighed 260 and kept his speed.

Lol no. He's being coached by the best Dline coach and LBer coach in the country. He needs to do what they tell him. Fuch Bama.

ETA: Also Key is a better pass rusher than anybody Bamas had in the past 20 years.

If key has the season he has this year, does he have a chance at being the #1 pick next year?
