Said it's the same type of situation as with Tharold Simon, Spencer Ware, etc.

Obviously the A&M game was his 1 game suspension, next time it's a year. Hopefully he's getting himself right.

He is probably right, key was suspended for the A&M game likely for drug test issues.

This is how it started with Tyrann hopefully this course of action can help him unlike the course that was taken with Tyrann

the guy with a history of alcohol addiction and a restraining order

You surely speak of Orgeron. And yep, he made his mistakes. I damn sure did too, back in the day.

I would certainly be inclined to believe that a recovering alcoholic, who has been sober for the better part of two decades, would definitely be a figure that somebody could listen to and relate to. You know, somebody who might be dealing with addiction and see that someone close to them has overcome it and gone on to great success.

We all know about the Ogre's alcoholic past and the subsequent violence it caused towards his wife. But she's still with him, right? Obviously she loved him enough to let him atone for his misdeeds. Yet some of us still can't let it go?

If AK49 is indeed dealing with addiction, he needs time, support and prayer. The best support often comes from confiding in those who have overcome the same demons. Recovering alcoholic speaking here, 8 years sober.

God bless, Key. Handle your bidniss and walk the line. Tiger Nation supports you, through whatever adversity you're walking through.

I wonder why atheletes jeopardize there careers with weed. I know most college kids try it but most don't have as much to lose. Do kids at Colorado get a pass? Will the drug policy ever be revised?

If he was in fact suspended for a failed test last year then this makes sense.

Have you ever thought maybe for a second that they're still frickING HUMAN. People make mistakes. Get over it. Key will figure his life out. If he doesn't, then that's on him. He knows he has support.

Not everyone lives their life like it's a bored housewife's facebook timeline. Some people like to keep stuff private, believe it or not.

When will people ever understand this. Unfortunately, this is foreign to half of today's population.

Nothing for me to get over. I'm raising the point that maybe the policy needs to be revised. It's a shame this could hurt a kids career!

At the same time ripping callers apart for suggesting or implying drugs. The guy (Mascona) is a huge douche bag.

Shake the haters, bro. The guys attacking you are too fricking stupid to comprehend. You didn't accuse Key of anything. But when the AllAmerican best player on the team who has a really good chance to be the highest drafted defensive player in program history takes a very cryptic leave of absence in the middle of February, people are going to speculate. Not grasping that is not only naive, but fricking retarded.

Regardless, no idea what it is, but I hope he figures it out and has 20 sacks next year on his way to the # 1 draft pick next spring.

I realize that this is a board for discussion, but you fricks need to quit speculating & let this play out. "For personal reasons" means exactly that until the staff provides more information. Let the kid take care of his issues. If Moscona or whoever has no solid info, they need to keep their pie hole shut.

If Key did something wrong it will come out - as it should. Until then, quit assuming and get on with your own life.
