Aranda has some unconventional schemes for setting up the defensive line. How will Orgeron adapt to the new system?

It plays right into Orgeron, a one-gap-aggressive, stop the run on the way to the QB, and more blitzing LB's...The D will dictate, not read react. Got to believe O loves the hire, and his guys can pin their ears back....

Yeah, I would be surprised if I heard that Miles didn't keep both Orgeron and Raymond in the loop on this hire.

If some of us are discussing how Aranda's scheme will fit with what the other LSU coaches like to do, then I have to believe that Miles & his assistants have discussed it, too.

Aranda said in a interview that he loves to get all the defense coaches together and use their strengths and input to make that tiger defense the best in the country. No egos in the way seems like genuine nice guy who knows his shite! Get ready baws, saturday nights just got alot more intense for opposing teams. Coach O, the Professor, and DBU master Raymond will bring a nasty disposition on the bayou. We will always have world class athletes. So ready for the fun to begin! Geaux Tigers!!!!

Yes Saturdays will be tougher for teams now. I look forward to seeing our team against A&M and Aurburn especially.

Oh let this happen - I have always been more excited by a stifling defense than point a minute offense. I love me some hard nosed defensive action!!!!

I just hate watching the other team picking up 3rd and long so often when we really need one stop to preserve a win.
