Kids were 4/6 and grand kids now we do about the same. This year will be a cupcake game for the 3/4s and 11y/o will do a big one.

Non SEC games like UAB and New Mexico are great games to introduce your kids to LSU football

Took mine (twins) to their first game last season…. They were 7. It was the ULM game and it started at 8pm which sucked because by 9 they were wore out. They did good though and I hope to take them to at least 1 non conference game a season until they get a little older

You could do 5 to 6, it'll just need to be an early game. An 11AM one would be perfect. Also, don't plan on being there the whole game.

Took my son the year he started playing recreational flag football thru Bossier Parks and Rec. He was 7. Don’t remember who we played but it was a non conference game. Every year from that point we took him and my daughter who was 9 then to one no conference game per year. My wife and I would go to one SEC game a year without them. It was a good balance financially and the non conference games were a bit more tame for the kiddos. All those years and we only left early one. 2007 Troy. Was coldest I’ve ever been at a sporting event and we were losing. Everyone was miserable so we left at halftime. ??????
Listened to the come back win in scar on way home.

No, the Auburn day game when Fournette went crazy was the hottest game ever

You obviously weren’t at that Monday evening game. It’s not even debatable.
The humidity was the devil that evening.

Also, from the weather almanac

Vs Tennessee 93* 67% humidity (start)
85* 87% (during) wind 0

Vs Auburn 87* 50% humidity (start)
87* 53% (during) wind 10-15mph

Yep, we got them for our son. He'll be 10 months at his first football game this year.

My girls were 12, 10, and 7. Auburn at home 2019. Quite possibly the hardest game we had that year. My 7 year old was eaten up with yelling first down. Then did the Angola rodeo on Sunday. Pretty cool weekend and a great year for them to have seen a game!!!!
