SINCE only 4 get in... You should need to win your conference to get in.
So what if the second best in a conference doesn't make it. It has already been determined they that team is not the best.
Conf.'s don't play each other much so it records aren't a direct apple to apple comparison. Conf. titles should be viewed as the first elimination step to the playoffs. You want a NC... then win your conf.!
