Meh.

A lot of AP voters base their polls on what you've done so far. Not a lot of teams have a more impressive win than Wisconsin.

From unranked to top 10 for beating a top 10 that shouldn't be ranked.

if you are basing off week 1, Tennessee should be below LSU

I like Houston ahead of Stanford

I do prefer this AP over the Coaches

speaks volumes as to which direction the program is heading. Of course if a couple of those runs were TD's or 5 or 6 big passes were completed wouldn't be in this position

What happened to UF?

They were 25th and had an unimpressive win in Week 1.

If you're fringe top 25 in the preseason, you better win comfortably or impressively the first week, because unranked teams behind you can easily make big jumps.

so we lost to a top 10 team by 2 on the road and dropped 16 spots. if we are to be embarrassed by the wisconsin loss, the ap voters cannot, at the same time, rank them so high where our loss was basically justified. not that these polls matter, but the thought process, or lack thereof, that goes into them is always entertaining. if we had no business losing that game, then wisconsin is not also a top 10 team
