Can't argue with this. Mich and Arky were clearly overrated, but that isn't Bama's fault. They will lose some votes as the weeks progress.

last night musburger asked herbstreit if he had lsu and bama at the top. i've never heard more convoluted verbal gymnastics to try to say yes but, no. he called bama and lsu "different" because they haven't played anybody yet. different? so, who is better? who deserves #1 and #2 more, genius?

the disney influence on college football is now comical.

USCW should at least be behind Florida and Ohio state.

I believe Arkansas was unranked after the ULM debacle, so you can definitely argue with that.

Isn't Ohio State ineligible for a bowl game? If your ineligible for post season you should be ineligible for any rankings. I THINK its so for the BCS polls....should be so for others too

shocked notre dame didn't get the other 2.
if they win one more probably jump into the top ten. You can get ready for ESPN to get their knee pads out and slober the ND knob - their # 1 booboo (usc) ain't what they suppose to be - so it will be bama and nd shite until we take care of biness come Nov 3rd

Amazing how USC is still ahead of undefeated teams.

So every team in the country that is 2-0 or 3-0 should be ahead of USC?

They fell out of the AP Poll altogether, but remained in the Coaches poll. Apparently the AP had that one right!

I see what you're saying but at what point does an undefeated Florida jump the one loss USC? Assuming both go undefeated rest of the way. What if Florida squeaks by most teams and USC blows everyone out by minimum of 30 points? Could Florida hump them? I realize ap and bcs is different and Florida will likely be ahead of USC in that poll if undefeated when it comes out. Just something ive always wondered.

If BAMA plays the way they have been playing the last three weeks. LSU would lose by at least 2 td's[AT LEAST].

The biggest problem with preseason polls. Neither Arky nor Michigan are top 10 teams. Especially not in the state they were in when they played Alabama (UM was missing their starting RB and Arky was missing their starting QB).

I don;t think the outcome would have been any different in either game IF those players are healthy.

Why is this being brought up? Has LSU played teams better than Mich or Ark? Alabama deserves all of the 1st place votes actually.
