I've heard from a fairly reliable source that he has had to close contact with an agent and we sat him out as a precautionary

Miles said in his post game interview that EF has a "medical condition and we didn't want him to be near our other players."

The interview is on the NOLA.com website.

It has to be something medical. The players wouldn't just paint his number for contacting an agent.

So why would the players wear his number on their arms? A show of solidarity for the guy who contacted an agent? Doesn't make sense

Could be something as common as mumps, chicken pox or measles.

Or, it could be serious.

Miles said he wasn't going to discuss EF's condition further.

Kind of a strange story...I heard Hanagriff say that he thought the medical explanation was not correct according to his sources which he said were very good and that there was some other situation.

Well, whatever it is, I wish the best of luck to him.

The team did very well in shutting down Iowa's running game considering he was out.
