Entirely different market, and could cost the conference more money in the end.

If AL and GA play in the regular season, they don't meet in ATL.

AL w/ Saban in the BCSNCG is more profitable for the conference as a whole than any other team.

if this is the case, it certainly needs to be questioned and exposed.

Personally, i dont think its that complicated. I think its simple homerism of the Bama alums running the show.

If you want a prime example of how Alabama with Saban sells, look at Finebaum.

Radio show goes national, now he's a talking head on ESPN. Do you honestly think Finebaum achieved this status on his own?

The process was to make sure LSU goes to Georgia and Alabama goes to Kentucky even though LSU had Fla on their schedule already.

It's conference first, Alabama second, and then everyone else, in that order.

It just so happens that with Saban at Alabama, there is more money to be made, so it's Alabama first.

And the truth is, they have a program that doesn't need any help, they just get it anyway.

I know WHAT happened, I was hoping not to get into this stuff (not being a dick to you). Im asking about literally how the meetings went, if any. Who was present, what power did each school have, if any. ETC ETC

He simply rode the snowball down the hill, no doubt. Dude is a shithead with zero personality. I intentionally dont listen to him because he's a Bama guy and why give him ratings but more power to him, he's done well. What I do find amusing is LSU fans that religously listen to him and increase his ratings, then complain that he's a bama homer.
