Probably right. If not directly from Bass, then from someone close to him, as Bass denied anything going on yesterday.

The Razorback foundation has to approve any contract offered to a coach. No such approval has happened.

Considering your recent past with coaches, what exactly are you looking for?

Well, it smells like Arkansas, so I think the answer is yes.

Perfect hire for Arkansas is an innovative coach on offense first and foremost. A coach who has shown to do more with a slightly less heralded recruiting class. A coach who has a track record of developing skill players, since that is what we can recruit a high level of.

Miles is a great coach at LSU. He is also the coach that people in this state do not like. It's not a secret.

Again, it's not a shot at LSU or Miles, he just would not fit in here, at all.

I've yet to see any hog fan that seems interested in having Miles as the coach.

First of all, he's done a great job at LSU and even with my homer glasses why would he want to move away from BR? Secondly, while I think he's done a good job at LSU I really don't like Les' dumb act and his odd manner of speaking, it almost comes across as a put on to me. His style of coaching would make me want to stab myself in the eyeballs- example would be last weeks barely win over the hogs when you should have won by 50.

What's desperate about sending out feelers to different coaches?
