If Jeremy Hill has to share the rock as he did this season he should definitely go pro.

He is an absolute hoss and could be made a Heisman candidate.

No reason for him to stay. All that staying another year would do is expose him to possibly get injured. He should talk to Lattimore and ask his advice abou if he should/shouldn't go pro.

No. Because of the attrition associated withy the position, most rbs are urged to go pro if they have the size and talent, regardless of class rank. There are exceptions, but Hill isn't one of them.

Hilliard should stay, though. He could have a breakout year mentoring Fournette.

Hill and Faulk are the best two RB's ive ever seen play for LSU. Hill is built for the NFL imo as well. He's going to have a great NFL career.

I would be surprised if he stayed, but boy would it be great if he did. Tigers will need all the help they can get next season and i for one would be glad to have him back.

JH really can't improve his draft position much by staying....he's a 1st rd talent that will slip into the 2nd due to GMs around the league being fickle on drafting RBs to early and spending the big bucks on them.

He moves well for a big man, and I don't just say this b/c I have a pair of P&G glasses either

Best back since Cecil collins

if terms of his probation allow him to move then he would we wise to move on. If not another year with LF and Hill getting playing time would be awesome. Not sure the cast of WR we have recruited would be happy with Les and his Michigan Run Run Run but with AJ being able to rund as well would be tuff to defend. who know cam might coach up AJ into a more accurate passing QB.

One reason he should? Don't say Heisman. Miles rotation of backs won't allow for it. He's a first or second round back. He's gone.

I would be really surprised if he stayed.

He ended the season with a great game, like everybody said the RB position in the NFL is not as high of a value as it used to be.

Plus as a RB I do not think you can chance an injury in your last season before the NFL

Has the probation issue ever been resolved with regards to getting a job out of state?

OP: Yes I know some who think he is staying. But it is due to his probation.

I was going to point to the object lesson of Marcus Lattimore that your ability to get paid could be wiped out in a moment's notice with a knee injury and thus staying in college is foolish. I looked him up and Lattimore has managed to rehab sufficiently to get a contract with the 49ers (though he is not playing for them now). I did not realize that he had made such progress. Good for him.

Didn't Lattimore get hurt twice?

That said as great as J Hill was if he asked my honest opinion I am not sure how I would justify telling him to stay

I highly doubt a judge wouldn't redefine JH's terms of probation so that the young man could make a living....

He left the state to play football games this entire season. I'm sure as long as he resides in Baton Rouge and reports on time every month, while keeping a good standing with his P.O. they will let him go to the draft. He will be closely watched anyway, so the judge won't have any problem in it.
