I was pretty much talking about the final score. The Tigers had a shot to win in the 2nd Half, but just gave up too many big plays on missed assignments and just bad Defensive play. Those 2-3 big pass plays that Mallet had were the big difference in the game. I think our D will know what's on the line this year and play with a heightened agression. I just hope they don't overplay the game and end up shooting themselves in the foot like last year.

No

They return a lot of key players from a team that beat us last year. They only have 1 loss to the 2nd best team in the country. They definitely aren't overrated. Ugly wins are still wins.

I don't think Les Miles will ever think any team that has beaten him 3 out of 4 will be overrated. If Arkansas plays their A game & LSU plays their B game, who knows? It would be fitting if the Defense has 5 takeaways against the Hogs in the season final.

i'm thinking and hoping it'll be like the last time I attended an LSU-Ark game: 2003.

I will take any of these three LSU-Arkansas games that I attended:
1995: 28-0
1999: 35-10
2004: 43-14

frick no.

Kniles Davis is making his comeback for the LSU game.

they will be jacked up.

they are already in the top ten. if they win, they can get into a BCS game. this is THE big game of the year for them. They have their main man back, who led them in TD's last year.

an easy win; are you kidding? that will be a blood match. both teams will be fighting for the ring. one cannot overestimate how much arkansas hates lsu. they save their best for us. and petrino is really one hell of a coach (as much as i hate to say it).

i don't see why any fan would say a 9-1 team in the SEC west is over rated

Because there are only two other good teams in the SEC West, they've only played one of them, and they got blown out. They beat Auburn and Ole Miss (barely) from the West, swept Tennessee, Vandy and an injury-depleted South Carolina from the East, and their OOC schedule was a complete joke with a 5-5 Texas A&M team being the star of the lineup. In spite of this weak schedule, they've struggled mightily and damn near lost three additional games beyond the blowout loss to Alabama.

They might not be overrated at #6, but there are plenty of reasons someone might say they are, and they might be right.

And, when we also save our worst for them, it's a close, tough game. I don't think we'll do that this year. Arkansas doesn't control how close this game will be. LSU does.

I think it will be nerve wracking early, then comfortable in the second half.

This game means a great deal to both Squads, it will be played hard. Arkansas is the most healthy that we have been all year. We had as many a 5 Defensive Starters out @ one time this season. It peaked in the Bama game. The Defense has played well the last 2 gms. Our offense will score points and we do have a Real FG Kicker. It should be fun.

ArKansas 2011 reminds me a lot of LSU 2010... Caught a lot of breaks to have the record they now have.

I see this game being somewhat like the 2003 game..... 55-24 Tigers..... or somewhere in that range.....

Rkansas has the best QB in the SEC IMO. They can and will score points.

The tigers are at home and should win but the game will be closer than many of you think
