Florida got bailed out by the reffs on Fultons INT. I played football for 15 years and have been watching for about 25. I know its illegal to hit low and to the knee area. But that was a shoulder to Trask upper thigh/butt. GIve me a f'n break! I can't recall a time where I've seen that penalty called. EVER. Not in college nor the pros.

Not to mention on the same play Chaisson's man had his hand up under his facemask pushing up around his neck. That's a penalty for sure. Hands to the face, facemask and throat. Come on. Really?

In real time I thought it was a low hit. The replay made me realize that it was a soft call.

Well considering the "rules expert" in the booth tried to make the case they will call a hit below the knees everytime and you got stay near the waist. Hell yea it was bullshite.

Dude spelled out why it was bullshite and didnt even realize ir

No, I wouldn't. It's a clean hit to the hip.

It was a terrible call, but typical SEC bullshite. The REC/SEC office in Birmingham is starting to get nervous.

YEah announcers are like you cant hit a QB below knee area then shows replay and shows player hitting QB on the hip. That and the horse collar on jefferson that wasnt called. Dam SEC refs hate LSU

Not fishy just incompetent. Refs were bad all night. Tons of holding overlooked, ghost calls, etc.

Cut that whiny liberal crap. The rules are clear and it was a legal hit. Period, end of story!!! The refs blew it pure and simple. I understand how the refs missed it because live speed, it looked worse than it was, but with the benefit of replay, it was simply not a penalty and the resulting blown call could have been very costly.

Horrible call. If the thUGA hit on Helinski that took him out of the game wasn't roughing, the hit on trask wasn’t close to roughing.

The spread was 13.5 and LSU win by 14. The refs did their job.
