And can get eyes on the football stadium? Would like to see what kind of weather conditions they expected us to play under.

Right sentiment, but the word is cowardice.

Thanks for the web cams. Apparently, they have electricity as the traffic lights are working and with all the trees , according to the web cams, I don't see a damn limb down in the place.

Electric was only out in a few small isolated areas from what I heard. The amount of damage is equal to an afternoon thunderstorm in August.

Golf courses have tee times being booked as early as 9am tomorrow.

Ok.. But what about EVERYTHING that goes into putting on a game???? They had a fricking hurricane that they were not sure where it was headed. Peoples LIVES were at stake ... But all LSU fans care about is a football game.

Can't play in those conditions

If there is little to no or very light damage throughout the state which is what the news is stating, then the police, safety personnel are not needed around the state. Are you trying to state that they could not be called in for a Monday night game if the decision was made now. Hell we did it after Rita on 2 days notice, Why in the Hell can't UF? Sorry , I will answer my own question, they just flat damn well don't want to play this game at this time.

Were they sitting on their asses Monday thru Thursday? I'm guessing, yes, because they never intended to play LSU anyway.

Popcorn is made, beer and water is stocked, ice machines are full. If that is not done by Thursday they have more problems than half the team being hurt and scared.

Playing golf compared to getting everyone involved that has to get a stadium ready after the game was canceled. Not as easy as you may think with everything going on over there. Look they had to make a choice. Right now it looks like the wrong choice. But at the time???????

Thats why ON TUESDAY they should have agreed to a Sun or Mon game in GV.

I get your point after having been through numerous hurricanes but they should have moved it to BR or a neutral site.

Florida didn't want to play LSU. The hurricane was a convienent excuse.

They played it perfectly.

Hey . I think FLA screwed this up by not wanting to move the game. But other than that that I can't argue not playing the game in Gainsville.

I live in Orlando, maybe two hours south. This hurricane was nothing for any inland city like Gainesville. I never lost power, never felt like it was too serious to even let my dog outside.

Our city curfew was done away with at 2 today. I've done hurricanes in Louisiana, and this was barely a tropical storm for us. The forecast calls for beautiful weather tomorrow. Unbelievable they cancelled this game instead of delaying it while waiting on results. Complete and utter bs.
