Anybody think Mulkey has maybe created some of this to get team fired up?

She knows how to get a team motivated. The media and public has created a lot of this. I know Mulkey is smart like a fox. She may be riding this and it has worked so far.

Create what? The national media gave lsu all the ammunition they need without Kim having to do anything.

No, Kim didn't dredge up her fractured relationship with her father to motivate college girls to play basketball.

Kim didn’t pen a racial hit piece to motivate her team, but she sure as hell is glad someone did.

Created? No. Did she use it as any good motivator should? Absolutely!

Nope, but she used it perfectly

Agree I worded that wrong but she may have chosen to lean into it. Hence the shift to the players talking about it being racist/is bs them mentality

Exactly. She channeled the negative press into a motivational tool, the world vs LSU type of thing. She did the same thing last year, and well, we all know how that turned out.

She didn’t create, but she has adapted to it. She doesn’t say anything by accident. Everything has a purpose.

The "dirty debutantes" thing was a massive own goal. Now the coverage of the story is more about the outrage of comparing LSU players to porn stars than it is about portraying Kim Mulkey negatively.
It instantly destroys all credibility about everything else he wrote.
Kim Mulkey goes from being the bad guy to the good guy standing up for her players.

This is a convoluted way to deflect the controversy from the perpetrators to the victims.
The LAT and their assigns are not going to be successful.
If the players file a lawsuit for depicting them as porn actors, they will settle for millions of dollars per player.
