Anybody get the feeling no "experts" have a clue what to expect today?

Every single damn time they ask any sports "expert," they all say the same thing.

"Both teams are identical...blah blah blah"
"It's in Tuscaloosa...blah blah blah"

And then when asked who will win, they just give up and go with the spread. Basically, they have no clue, and throw out bama winning by either exactly 3 or exactly 7.

Bizzare

They really show a lack of understanding about LSU and what kind of team they are

I'm a girl and far from an expert. I think it'll come down to qbs making mistakes and being able to wtihstand the d coming at them. I think that our 2 are more experienced and able to deal with this than McCarron.

I also think that the way we rotate guys in and our .. well that's a great thing.

And we've got Brad Wing!

That said, what will be will be and I keep reminding myself (and have for the past month) that this is a GAME played by young MEN.

Les has this team ready ... Les Geaux Tigers!!!

ETA: Typical girl who didn't answer the question. NO ... they don't know crap. Really.

Yea, thats why I stopped watching ESPN two weeks ago. It is all a bunch of nonsense.

These two teams are so alike that it is unbelievable.

Actually, you provide more logic than all the "pick the spread" clueless experts. It will feel good tonight to be able to say that you know more than a VERY long list of "experts." Either way, this will be one we will remember for a very long time.

Tired of hearing everyone saying the same things. Everyone is expecting a defensive low scoring game.

IMO, everytime all the "experts" expect a game to go a particular way, it doesn't.

Don't be shocked if the game starts the way they expect, but both teams start scoring in the 2nd half. I see the winner (LSU) putting up > 30 points. But then again, I'm no expert. When this happens, all these experts will lose any cred they have left in my eyes.

Last year in line for the bathroom some girl turns to me and says well what do you think? I told her that I had a feeling that Nick would some how fold ... somehow would come up just short and that I had a GOOD feeling ... cautiously optimistic.

And I was right. There's nothing left to be said about this game. It's ALL been said.

In the end it's a GAME played by young men. May the best group of young men win!

I think they have a phone app that uses the following equation:

O/U = LSU_SCORE + BAMA_SCORE
BAMA_SCORE = LSU_SCORE + SPREAD

O/U = LSU_SCORE + (LSU_SCORE + SPREAD)
O/U - SPREAD = 2 * LSU_SCORE

LSU_SCORE = (O/U - SPREAD) / 2
BAMA_SCORE = [(O/U - SPREAD) / 2] + SPREAD

Seriosly...
