Flying in the Friday before the Wisconsin game, leaving Monday. Will drive to Green Bay and back but have a room in Milwaukee. Places to eat, cool things to do, etc. TIA

Esquire did an episode of Best Bars in America there. I'd check that out.

Potawatomi Casino is pretty good if you're into that sort of thing.

The German beer barons' mansions are a site to see, all along the lake. Tons of good German bars & some German food is off the charts. Octoberfest there is awesome.

I wanted to go but my buddy insists on Friday night in Madison. says its like Austin or Athens. I wanted to see miller park and visit some pubs. a tour of lakefront brewery would be sweet.

Wanted to see a game at Miller Park myself, but they are out of town until that Monday when I leave. Playing the Cubs on Monday. Sucks that I couldn't make it all work.

5 o'clock Steakhouse for a good steak and prime rib, west of downtown.

5 o'clock Steakhouse

The third ward is an old factory area that has been renovated with lots of bars and restaurants. Good place for night life.

Third Ward

I went to the Couquette Cafe for lunch ( in the third ward) which was very good.
